Today was the first harvest of potatoes from the garden. We only have a small space but try and make the most of it. In the spring we fertilised the plot with the barn dregs (straw with sheep and goat droppings) which the potatoes absolutely loved!

There are still more potatoes in the ground but we'll dig them up in batches.
There are a few self seeded poppies opening now too.
There is something so satisfying about watching your garden grow and harvesting the bounty and admiring the beauty.
